Deep sea fishing
When staying at our place you can rent a boat for deep sea fishing. Vannøya is well known for some of the worlds best fishing fields when it comes to cod, wolf-fish, haddock, redfish and last but not least the halibut. The world record for halibut taken with pole has earlier been caught here.
The boats you can rent is Kaassbøll aluminum boats with incredible qualities in rough sea. These are equipped with tracking and you can also sound an alarm for us with help from the tracking device if there should be bigger problems. One 19 feet boat with 85 Hp Yamaha 2-stroke engine. One 20 feet boat with 115 Hp Yamaha 4 stroke engine. Two 22 feet with 115 Hp Yamaha 4 stroke engines.
All boats equipped with chart plotter, GPS and ecko sounder. These are open boats that make them very convenient to fish from, there are several pole holders that makes it easy to bring fishing equipment.
When you arrive from fishing we have good facilities to take care of the fish, with benches for cutting, washing and packing right by the boats.

Good warm clothing, boots.
