Welcome to Vannøya. A pearl in Karlsøy, a large island with lots of nature. The perfect place to experience nature, watch the Northern lights blaze in the dark winter months, and feel the rays of the midnight sun on bright, quiet summer nights.
We offer accommodation and activities adapted to the season. In the summer months you can rent boats or take a guided boat trip, and when the landscape is covered in snow we have hiking equipment and warm clothes.

We requested the transfer service from the airport and everything was perfect. Even from the ferry that leads to the island we could admire the northern lights which then continued all night. Watching them from our own houses was an unforgettable experience. On the road you meet reindeers and eagles (if you are lucky even moose). The owner is very kind and, if you want, will take you to the discovery of the island or will get you excellent freshly caught fish.
Skilled and talented guide. Beautiful scenery and midnight sun. A fisherman’s paradise and a great place to stay. Not too many people or tourists.
Fantastic wildlife with large eagles and lots of birdlife. The guided tour around North Fugløy at night was the best part of it all.
